A new innovation district is taking shape on the edge of downtown Indianapolis. It is being developed through a partnership of the surrounding universities and private investors. The precinct master plan emphasizes the importance of creating a vibrant public realm, with retail frontage, an urban street grid and public open spaces that will function as an outdoor commons for future residents and workers. Jonathan was the landscape architect on the planning team for the 16 Tech master plan while serving at Ayers Saint Gross.
