Stono River Preserve

After receiving this historic plantation from the estate of naturalist John Henry Dick, the College of Charleston sought to reimagine the role of these lands in helping advance its academic mission. Today, a network of trails provides access to and interpretation of this diverse landscape of freshwater wetlands, tidal salt marsh, agricultural lands and historic landscapes including a 300-year old live oak allee and a colonial-era parish cemetery. Jonathan served as the landscape architect for this project while practicing with Ayers Saint Gross.
